The Mutts on the Mississippi is the only bi-state canine run and walk in the entire United States! It is a 2-mile run/walk beginning in Fulton, Illinois, crossing the Highway 136 Bridge across the Mississippi river and ending in Clinton, Iowa in Four-Square Park in the Historic Lyons District.
Dog Awards will take place after the last runner has finished approximately at 10:15 a.m. This will include: Best Costume, Longest/Shortest Ears, Longest/Shortest Tails, Youngest/Oldest, Best Trick, and Looks Most Like Owner.
Following the Awards will be Race Awards and Raffle Winners.
The Guinness Book of World Records has been contacted in hopes of this event being the largest number of dogs to cross a bridge at one time.
